Pinecone Diversion Safe

Description

A moulded pinecone with a sliding compartment in the base, textured and coloured to match natural cones. In a garden bed, under a shrub or among leaf litter it vanishes entirely.

Pinecones have an advantage over fake rocks in planted areas: they are smaller, they nestle into ground cover, and a cone lying in a flower bed is completely unremarkable. Where a rock might look placed, a cone looks fallen.

The compartment is sized for a single house key or a small key set. Slide the base open, insert, and close.

Placement advice: keep it away from the front door and off the direct path to it. Somewhere along a side bed or toward the back of the property is far better. Check on it seasonally, since yard work, wind and rain move small objects over time.
