A dummy wall outlet that mounts into the wall like a real receptacle and opens to reveal a concealed drawer behind the faceplate. This is the most convincing hiding place we sell.

The reason is that outlets are infrastructure. There are several in every room, they are functional, and nobody has ever considered opening one. Even a methodical search of a house is unlikely to include unscrewing the wall sockets.

The drawer takes cash, documents folded small, jewelry or a memory card. Installation requires cutting a cavity in drywall between studs, which is straightforward but permanent, so choose the location carefully before committing.

Important safety note: install it in a location with no live electrical wiring. Never place it near an existing circuit, and if you are unsure about what is behind a wall, have an electrician confirm before cutting.
